Snowy Crickets

One of my favorite autumn concerts, these snowy crickets live and trill in the cool bottomlands of a remote valley in Washington State. Once a busy stop for stagecoach travelers, this location is quiet on this evening, except for these crickets and the faint babble of a spring that once provided dusty travelers a thirst quenching drink.
