Zabalo

One of the world’s last truly wild places is Zabalo–deep within the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest–a place so remote that it is possible to walk for 1,200 miles without crossing a road. This is the heart of biodiversity and the lungs of the planet. During this time lapse recording from dawn-to-dusk, we hear an acoustic sun dial–it is possible to tell the time of day by sound alone.
