The border between Kentucky and Tennessee is rich with rivers, lakes, and wildlife of all kinds, especially, minute forest insects. The heat of the summer allows insect populations to explode, until autumn’s cooling air calms these insects to produce spacious, trilling medleys. We listen to nightfall orchestrated with insects, birds, and awakening owls.
